Big news for Philadelphia-area families: Action Behavior Centers is officially open in Pennsylvania! We now have three centers in Horsham, Newtown, and King of Prussia, ready to welcome families from day one. Center-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy and no-cost ADOS-2 autism evaluations are available now, with no waitlists. Enrollment is open for autistic children ages 18 months to 8 years.

We know how hard it can be to find quality autism services close to home. Too many families spend months on waitlists, watching time slip by before their child can access early intervention. That's not okay with us, and it's exactly why we're here.

ABA therapy 101: What Philadelphia families need to know

ABA therapy uses the science of learning to help children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) build new skills in communication, social connection, and everyday independence. It's evidence-based, which means backed by decades of research and recognized by medical and behavioral health organizations as an effective support for autistic children. Most insurance plans cover it, too.

ABA therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Your child is unique, and their therapy should reflect that. Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs®) work directly with families to set individualized goals based on each child's strengths and needs. Sessions might look like play, structured activities, or a mix of both, whatever works best for your child.

At ABC, therapy is center-based, meaning your child comes to one of our Philadelphia-area locations. Our centers are designed to feel welcoming and comfortable, so children walk in ready to learn and grow.

What autism services are available in Pennsylvania?

Families at our Horsham, Newtown, and King of Prussia centers can access a full range of autism services, including:

  • Immediate access to care: No waitlists means your child can start ABA therapy right away. Early intervention makes all the difference, and we're ready when you are.
  • Diagnostic support: If you're noticing early signs of autism and want answers, we can help. You don't have to navigate the evaluation process alone. ADOS-2 evaluations are provided at no-cost, and results of the test are sent to your child’s doctor.
  • Insurance made simple: We accept most major plans and guide families through every step of the paperwork process. Financial assistance is available for out-of-pocket expenses, and you can check your coverage online anytime.
  • Coordinated care: If your child already works with speech, occupational, feeding, or physical therapists, we can collaborate directly with them. Those services can even be provided right in our centers, so your child gets what they need in a familiar space, with fewer transitions and less travel.
  • Family Guidance: You're one of the most important parts of your child's treatment at ABC. Every child’s care plan includes twice-a-month Family Guidance sessions led by a BCBA, giving you practical strategies to use at home and during daily routines.

ABC is partnering with the Eagles Autism Foundation

We're also so excited to share that Action Behavior Centers is the Proud Partner of this year's Eagles Autism Challenge (EAC) on May 9, 2026, in Philadelphia! We'll be hosting the Sensory Kids Zone, and we can't wait.

The EAC brings the Philadelphia community together to fund innovative autism research and treatment programs. The event includes a bike ride, 5K run/walk, and a sensory walk open to participants of all abilities. You can learn more and register to participate at www.eaglesautismchallenge.org

We know that large events can feel like a lot for families with young autistic children. Loud sounds, bright lights, and busy crowds can be overwhelming for children who experience sensory sensitivities. That's exactly why the Sensory Kids Zone exists. It's a quieter, calmer space where families can take a breath, enjoy sensory-friendly activities, and meet ABC clinicians on site.
