Digital Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us, and the following will inform you of the information that we, Action Behavior Centers, may collect from you, and how it is used. We will do everything possible to protect your information. By using our website, www.actionbehavior.com, you are accepting the practices described in this Policy.

Information Collection

We may collect information such as your domain name, IP address, browser type, operating system, what brought you to our Website, and which of our Web pages you have accessed.

Additionally, if you communicate with us regarding our Website or our services, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication.

Information Use

We use the collected information primarily for our own internal purposes, such as providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving our services and Website, fulfilling requests for information, and providing customer support. Information may also be used for marketing and advertising as described in the Cookies section. We may also use your email address to contact you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this Policy. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each message. Even if you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as notices about changes to this Policy or responses to your requests.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use "cookies" and similar tracking technologies on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. We use two categories of technologies:

Essential Technologies. These technologies are necessary for the Website to function and for us to operate, secure, maintain, and improve it. They include:

  • Functionality cookies that remember your settings or login so that, for instance, you do not have to enter a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site;
  • Security cookies that help detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; and
  • Analytics technologies that measure how visitors use our Website, such as which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, how visitors arrived at the Website, and whether errors occur. We use analytics information solely for our own internal purposes to understand Website performance, diagnose problems, and improve our services and Website. Analytics information is not used to build advertising audiences, to deliver targeted advertising, or for any marketing purpose. Because essential technologies are required to provide and improve the Website, they are active by default and are not subject to the consent preferences described in the Consent section below.

Marketing and Advertising Technologies. These technologies are used to track and target the interests of our users, create advertising audiences, measure the performance of our advertising campaigns, and deliver advertisements that may be relevant to you on our Website and on other websites. Marketing and advertising technologies may be set by us or by third-party advertising partners. They are not essential to the operation of the Website and in certain states are activated only if you consent through our consent management platform (CA, CO, CT, DE, IA, KY, MA, MN, MO, NE, NH, NJ, OR, RI, TN, UT and VA).

If you wish, you may disable cookies via your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential technologies may prevent some features of the Website from functioning properly.

Short Message Service (SMS) Terms and Conditions

Short Message Service (SMS) text messages is a method of digital communication that ABC may utilize to contact current ABC families or prospective families who are interested in ABA services.

Messaging Costs

Those who opt in to receive text messages acknowledge responsibility for any carrier fees, including data plan charges, messaging charges, toll fees, out-of-area roaming, and other charges. Consent to receive text messages will not be shared.

Opt In

Families will be able to opt in to receiving SMS text messages. Families may receive:

  • Information about ABC’s services;
  • Information about the admission process; and
  • Option to unsubscribe

Opt Out

Families who choose not to receive SMS text messages can reply to the delivered message with STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT or END to opt out.

Sharing

We will not sell or otherwise provide the information we collect to outside third parties for the purpose of direct or indirect mass email marketing.   Information collected through marketing and advertising technologies may be shared with third-party advertising partners, subject to the Consent section.

Additionally, your consent to receive text messages will not be shared with any outside parties for any reason. We will disclose personal information and/or an IP address, when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities and conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on our company
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of our Website and related properties
  • Identify persons who may be violating the law, the rights of third parties, or otherwise misusing our Website or its related properties

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online – for example through email, discussion boards, or elsewhere – that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your personal information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you are online.

Consent

In specific managed states (CA, CO, CT, DE, IA, KY, MA, MN, MO, NE, NH, NJ, OR, RI, TN, UT and VA), we use a consent management platform to obtain your preferences before enabling marketing and advertising technologies. If you consent, those technologies may collect information about your interactions with our Website and use it to create advertising audiences, measure the performance of our advertising campaigns, and deliver advertising that may be relevant to you. If you decline, marketing and advertising technologies are not activated and your information is not shared with our advertising partners. In all other states, marketing and advertising technologies are active by default and remain active until you opt out. Essential technologies, including analytics, operate in all states as described above. We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal. You may review or change your preferences, or opt out, at any time.
