Family Guidance
Parents and caregivers play an important role in their child’s success in ABA therapy. Every care plan includes twice-a-month Family Guidance sessions led by a BCBA. These sessions give parents practical strategies they can use during therapy and in daily routines at home.

Yes, insurance generally covers ABA therapy at our Cedar Park center. Action Behavior Centers is in-network with many major health insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Optum, UMR, Beacon Health, PHCS, and Medica. Our insurance specialists assist with verifying coverage, managing preauthorizations, and handling claims directly. At our Cedar Park ABA therapy center, we offer a range of personalized autism services designed to meet the unique needs of every child:
- In-center ABA therapy for children ages 18 months to 8 years. Center-based ABA therapy helps children with autism build communication, social, and independence skills in a fun and exciting environment. Children work 1:1 with ABA therapists to grow and reach their goals.
- At-home ABA therapy for children ages 18 months to 13 years. In-home ABA therapy gives children the chance to learn in a familiar environment. Children work with an ABA therapist to learn how to apply new skills to everyday situations like meals, playtime, and routines.
- ABC Academy is an intentionally designed ABA therapy model for school-age children ages 5–12. It was created to bridge the gap between early intervention and school by providing ongoing support for children who are enrolled in school part-time or full-time.
- Autism diagnostic support includes online screeners and face-to-face evaluations to assess children ages 18 months to 6 years for autism-related behaviors.

What is the admission process for this ABA therapy center?
Getting started with ABA therapy at our autism treatment center is easy! The admission process includes the following steps:
- Complete our online interest form: Begin by filling out our quick and easy online form so we can learn more about your child’s needs.
- Insurance verification: Our team will verify your insurance coverage and discuss any available financial assistance options.
- Intake appointment: During the intake session, one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) will meet with your family, assess your child’s needs, and create a personalized therapy plan tailored to your child’s unique developmental goals.
- Therapy starts: Once the plan is finalized, autism therapy will begin at our Cedar Park ABA center or in your home in the Austin area (depending on the program chosen).

Action Behavior Centers offers no-cost evaluations, including the ADOS-2 and other Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDEs), to help guide your next steps.
