About Action Behavior Centers   At Action Behavior Centers, our mission is to provide life-changing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. Our centers are thoughtfully designed environments that support learning, development, and engagement for the children and families we serve.   As we continue expanding into new communities, our design and development teams play a critical role in creating spaces that are functional, safe, and supportive of therapeutic programming. Our New Centers team works collaboratively across design, real estate, and construction to bring new centers to life and ensure each environment reflects operational needs and brand standards.   Position Summary   We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our New Centers team and lead the construction build-out of new therapy centers from start to finish.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for contractors and vendors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in executing projects with precision and efficiency.

While this role requires travel and occasional extended hours during key project phases, it offers the opportunity to directly impact the successful launch of new centers and expand access to care for children and families. Training will be provided, but the right candidate will quickly take ownership and operate independently with confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and communicate project timelines, milestones, and updates with internal teams and leadership
  • Partner with contractors to define scope, expectations, and deliverables
  • Coordinate and schedule contractors to ensure timely project completion

  • Collaborate with Office Managers to support center openings and readiness
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor and vendor communications
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc projects as needed
Experience:
  • 3–5 years of construction project management experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in hands-on environments and navigating tools, materials, and build-outs
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in dynamic settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to execute independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) is a plus
