They stress a "hire to retire" philosophy, constantly emailing us about growth opportunities and open positions within the company. Whether you want to go into administration or stay in clinical work, you can grow here.
I started with ABC as a behavior therapist (BT), but through working with the kids, I realized that I have skills that could make a real difference in their lives. I started working with a mentor, got certified as an RBT, and now I'm on my way to becoming a BCBA.
If you want to go into the administrative side of things, you can absolutely do that, or if you want to stay working on the clinical side of things, ABC will support you to go to school to become a BCBA.
Hear from our RBTs
“I had worked with children in the past as a teacher, and I was interested in moving toward a more therapeutic, one-on-one environment. I’ve loved the team environment here, and it’s really given me a lot of chances to grow both personally and professionally.”
"You really feel like part of a family at ABC and are always supported and encouraged. I love our culture, the way our team cares for each other. I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else. When families walk into an ABC center, they can feel the love and fun."
“The RBT training gives teammates a solid foundation. The best part of training is that new teammates are paired with practicum students who are in the Everest Program. They get to strengthen their teaching skills, and new hires get to see what the future might hold."
Why RBTs choose Action Behavior Centers
Learn more about what you can expect as an ABA therapist at Action Behavior:
Smaller caseloads = bigger impact
As an RBT at ABC, you’ll work one-on-one with children to deliver ABA therapy and help them reach milestone moments. Smaller caseloads and strong BCBA support mean you can focus on providing individualized care and building real connections with the children and families you serve.
Grow into a leader
Many of our clinical leaders started their careers as RBTs. With structured career pathways, you can grow into roles like Lead RBT, Training Coordinator, Senior RBT, and beyond. For teammates pursuing graduate education, ABC also provides support through our Everest Program to fast-track the path toward becoming a BCBA.
Mentorship from clinical leaders
You won’t be on your own. Every RBT is supported by a supervising BCBA who provides training, guidance, and feedback. You’ll also benefit from learning opportunities shaped by respected leaders in the field, ensuring compassionate, evidence-based care is always at the center.
No contractual obligation
We want you to build a lasting career here because ABC is a great place to work, not because of a contract. Our culture is built on respect, support, and shared purpose.

BCBAs are at the heart of clinical care at ABC. They design and oversee ABA therapy for children diagnosed with autism, supervise ABA therapists, collaborate with families, and ensure each child is progressing toward their developmental goals.
In the Everest Program, Rising Star+ teammates are on the cusp of BCBA certification. They’ve completed their master’s program and supervision hours and are studying for the BCBA exam.
Rising Stars teammates are participants in our BCBA practicum program who have completed most of their master’s coursework and supervision hours.
Trainees are RBTs in the Everest Program who are enrolled in a BCBA master’s program and are ready to begin their supervised fieldwork journey.
Our therapists provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in a fun and engaging environment. This is an entry-level autism therapist role, and we help all teammates become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) within their first 90 days.
