Lauren Pirela

Lauren Pirela is a Family Advocate at Action Behavior Centers, supporting families across Houston and the Greater Texas region with a career path rooted in direct, hands-on experience. She began her journey at ABC as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®), working closely with families and witnessing their daily joys and challenges firsthand. That experience drove her to transition into the intake process, where she helped families navigate their first steps toward care, before stepping into her current advocacy role.

Lauren is passionate about expanding access beyond the families ABC directly serves, recognizing that many underserved communities lack the resources and support they deserve. That conviction has become a personal mission: to help families from all walks of life find guidance, equity, and meaningful support.

Outside of work, she loves exploring her community from the inside out, supporting local shops, restaurants, and entertainment spots, and finding the hidden gems that make every city unique
