Kris Corbin
Family Advocate – Chicago
Kris Corbin is the Family Advocate for Chicago, Illinois, bringing firsthand experience as both a caregiver and a clinician to the families he supports. He joined Action Behavior Centers over two years ago as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®), working directly with autistic children every day and building a deep passion for ABA therapy along the way.
After about a year in that role, Kris transitioned into advocacy, where he helps families find their voices and access the care their children need. As a parent of an autistic child himself, he understands what families are navigating from the inside out. That personal connection drives his commitment to making sure every caregiver feels heard, informed, and empowered to advocate not just for their own child, but for autistic children across the country.
Outside of work, you can find Kris spending time with his children, exploring new nature trails, or watching sports. Getting outside helps him recharge after a full week of advocacy. And if he's not doing one of those things, he's most likely working his way through a cup or three of coffee.
