Brooke Shaffer
Family Advocate – Phoenix
Brooke Shaffer is the Family Advocate for the Phoenix region. She joined ABC in 2023 as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) and brings more than five years of experience in the field, beginning with individualized direct support for autistic children before transitioning into advocacy.
She's passionate about helping families navigate complex systems, access vital resources, and understand the therapy process with confidence. Brooke finds deep meaning in supporting the autism community at scale and in the connections she builds along the way.
She holds a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Illinois State University and enjoys fitness, the outdoors, and arts and crafts outside of work.
