At Action Behavior Centers, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs®) and Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®) deliver evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Compassionate care in ABA is at the heart of everything we do, and we know that starts with taking care of the teammates who provide it.

Growing into a BCBA takes years of coursework, supervised fieldwork, and a lot of financial commitment. ABC wants to make that path easier to walk. Through ABC Foundations, our discounted university partnerships, and the Everest Program, teammates get real support at every stage of their ABA career, from RBT to BCBA and beyond.

University partnership discounts

ABC has partnered with several universities to offer discounts and scholarships to teammates working toward a degree in behavior analysis, whether they're just getting started or already enrolled. We've also included each school's most recent BCBA pass rate among our teammates, so you can see how graduates are performing once they sit for the exam.

The Everest Program: a path to your BCBA

For teammates enrolled in a graduate program and working toward BCBA certification, the Everest Program is ABC's no-cost fellowship built to help you reach the summit of your ABA career. You'll get unrestricted fieldwork hours, paid time off the schedule to study, and mentorship from experienced clinical supervisors, all while earning a paycheck.

Based on 2024 program data, the Everest Program has helped drive 311 BCBA promotions, a 45% increase in participants, and more than 750 new trainees. That kind of growth comes from a clear, structured path. Instead of guessing what comes next, you'll always know where you stand and what step comes after it:

1. Trainee. You're accumulating supervised field hours.
2. Rising Star. You've completed about 75% of your supervised field hours.
3. Rising Star+. You've finished your supervised field hours and scheduled your BCBA exam within the next three months.
4. BCBA Apprentice or Applicant. You've earned your BCBA credential and are completing an apprentice or accelerate curriculum.
5. BCBA. You've completed the prerequisites and stepped fully into your BCBA role.

Along the way, you'll work alongside experienced BCBAs who set individualized goals in collaboration with families and guide those families in using ABC-recommended strategies at home. As a BCBA at ABC, you'll also carry a smaller caseload, an average of six children with a max of eight, supported by a team of RBTs, so you can focus on the quality of care rather than the size of your workload.
