Family Guidance
Parents and caregivers play an important role in their child’s success in ABA therapy. Every care plan includes twice-a-month Family Guidance sessions led by a BCBA. These sessions give parents practical strategies they can use during therapy and in daily routines at home.

We collaborate with your child’s speech, occupational, feeding, and physical therapists to provide sessions directly in our centers. This allows your child to access other services in a familiar environment while minimizing unnecessary transitions and travel.

Does my child need an autism diagnosis before starting ABA therapy?
Yes. A documented autism diagnosis is required before your child can begin ABA therapy, receive insurance coverage for services, and access certain school programs. Action Behavior Centers offers no-cost evaluations, including the ADOS-2 and other Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDEs), to help guide your next steps.
