Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $88,000-$95,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated BCBA Training Leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in training and developing BCBAs to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles. The ideal candidate will be an ACD or higher with a strong understanding of BCBA responsibilities at ABC and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BCBA Cohorts at HQ: Conduct in-person training sessions at our headquarters every week, providing intensive and hands-on learning experiences for new BCBAs.
  • Virtual Trainings: Facilitate virtual training sessions following each in-person cohort, ensuring continuous learning and support.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with VP and Director of Clinical Training to ensure training programs are aligned with organizational goals and that BCBAs receive comprehensive support and guidance. 
  • Curriculum Development: Work with clinical training leadership to update training materials and programs as needed to reflect the latest best practices in ABA and BCBA responsibilities. 

Qualifications

  • Certification: Assistant Clinical Director and above 
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of extensive EIBI experience in ABA and a thorough understanding of BCBA roles and responsibilities and at least 2 years at ABC.
  • Training Effectiveness: Demonstrated effectiveness as a trainer as demonstrated by RBT performance, including but not limited to completion of training checklists for technicians and effective supervision.  
  • Clinical Job Performance: Consistently meets job expectations, including providing required family guidance, treatment delivery, and case review scores. 
  • Compassion: Consistently demonstrates a compassionate approach to the patients that we serve and the teammates that we develop.
  • Treatment Plans: Maintains high quality treatment plans as demonstrated by achieving green lit status.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility: Ability to be based at HQ for in-person training sessions and adapt to virtual training environments.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address training needs and performance issues effectively.
