Position Description:
We are looking for a motivated, top-notch Assistant Regional Director of Authorizations who wants to be a part of a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. Training and support will be provided for the responsibilities outlined below, with the goal of building confidence and independence in the role over time.
Job Title: Assistant Regional Director of Authorizations
Department: Authorizations
Reports to: Director of Authorizations
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with managing assigned regions including: workload distribution, assignment of responsibilities, maintaining quarterly regional data, conducting ongoing team meetings, team productivity & career progression.

Review & auditing of packet submissions to insurance funders.

Conduct peer reviews & appeal processes for authorization requests.

Collaborate with Area Directors, Ops & clinical teams for case specific needs based on medical necessity criteria outlined by the funder.
Qualifications:
-
1+ year as a BCBA
-
Insurance experience preferred.

Working knowledge of healthcare communication regulations, privacy laws, and HIPAA, with the ability to apply these requirements appropriately.

Must meet the recommendation of regional leadership.

Compensation & Schedule:

Full-Time: Starting at $58,000 + quarterly performance bonus based on meeting KPIs.

Remote - will require 5%-10% travel to our headquarters in Austin, TX per year or as requested.
