Position Description:

We are looking for a motivated, top-notch Credentialing Specialist who wants to be a part of a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. We are a smart, fun place to work. Simply put, we are different, and we aim to be the best. The right candidate will be a natural self-starter with extremely strong attention to detail. We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own.

Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

Department: Revenue Cycle Management

Reports to: Credentialing Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and complete work accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines

  • Maintain Availity database additions, changes, and verification requests

  • Maintain provider/group demographic information and process updates accurately

  • Participate in delegated credentialing projects and complete assigned special projects

  • Resolve payer information requests in a timely manner

  • Review provider/group demographic changes, identify credentialing concerns, and obtain additional information as needed

  • Facilitate payer calls to address contracting or credentialing issues

  • Train Specialists and support enrollment processes across dual markets

  • Contribute to team efforts and complete additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2–10 years of professional experience

  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in Behavioral Health or Healthcare

  • 1–5 years of credentialing experience preferred

  • Delegated Credentialing experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of CAQH attestations and processing

  • Proficient in Excel and Word; Google Suite experience preferred

  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally about past accomplishments

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Stay organized and effectively manage priorities

  • Communicate proactively and regularly with the Credentialing Manager

  • Be approachable, receptive to feedback, and open to learning

  • Consistently meet deadlines and team goals

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and look for opportunities to improve processes

Compensation & Schedule:

 

  • Full-Time: $18- 22 hourly

  • Austin, TX (on-site position), Remote if outside of the Austin area
