Job Description

Full-Time | Travel Required (~75%) Texas Floater Project Manager    We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead the charge during the build-out of our new ABA therapy centers as we open new centers nationwide. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on getting things done, feels at home on a job site, and finds satisfaction in turning a plan into a polished, functioning space. Our Project Managers lead the full build-out process for ABA therapy centers, ensuring each space is thoughtfully designed and ready to support exceptional care. Projects vary from straightforward 8,000–12,000 sq. ft. build-outs to more complex second-generation spaces or shell constructions. The timeline and scope often depend on the condition of the initial building, so adaptability and hands-on involvement are key. You’ll be our on-the-ground expert and go-to point of contact during construction and opening phases, working closely with site contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with excellence. While travel and some extended hours are part of the role, a great fit will love the pace, purpose, and impact of each completed center. We’ll train you on our internal processes, but we’re looking for someone who can take ownership quickly and drive projects with confidence. In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate with the real estate team to review leases and secure landlord approvals
  • Partner with General Contractors (GCs) to manage timelines and ensure build-outs stay on track
  • Optimize resources across sites by sharing materials, insights, and best practices
  • Maintain flexibility in your schedule while being highly involved in all project phases
  • Manage communication with leadership and internal teams around project milestones
  • Meet with and schedule contractors to align scope and timing
  • Order initial center supplies and oversee inventory setup
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager on center readiness
  • Handle inbound communication from contractors and vendors
  • Support other departments with ad hoc project needs
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of project management experience (commercial construction required)
  • Must be comfortable with traveling to any ABC Market
  • This role will travel heavily to Texas ABC Regions - Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Greater Texas, & more!
  • A natural problem-solver who's comfortable with tools and getting hands-on
  • Highly detail-oriented, perceptive, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Able to operate with minimal supervision and adapt to changing project needs
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools (a plus)
You Embody Our Core Values:
  • Caring – You work hard because you believe in the mission and the children we serve
  • Excellence – You’re precise and organized because every detail matters
  • Fun – You bring joy and positivity to your projects and teams
  • Learning – You constantly seek growth and improvements for yourself and your team
  • Team – You value collaboration and step up wherever needed to get the job done
Travel Requirement: This is a travel-heavy role with approximately 75% travel across our regions and centers. During initial phases, expect 2–3 days per week on-site, depending on project and region needs. Some of our Project Managers prefer short trips; others stay several days—it’s flexible based on what works best for you and your schedule. We prioritize home-life balance and support each team member in managing their workload and travel preferences accordingly.

Benefits:

  • Student Loan Repayment Employer Contributions.
  • Health insurance coverage + Health Savings Accounts for tax free benefits on child care + medical expenses.
  • 401K Retirement Plans with company matching.
  • Personalized Career Progression plans with readiness to next role.
  • Up to 25 paid days off per year
  • Tuition discounts at our university partnerships.

Compensation: $80,000-$93,000 salary + annual bonus based upon business KPIs
