Physician Referral Intake Associate

Job Summary: The Physician Referral Intake Associate role is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of referral information from physicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and entering all referral information from physicians via e-fax into our CRM (salesforce) in a timely and accurate manner. The role holder will be expected to complete all referral data entry tasks within the same day, in adherence to SLAs. Other duties include communication with Physician Liaisons (PL) and referring practices to ensure all documentation is received timely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and enter referral information from physicians into the CRM system (Salesforce) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure all referral data entry tasks are completed within the same day, in adherence to SLAs
  • Communicate effectively with Physician Liaisons (PL) and referring practices to obtain all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient management of referrals
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role or similar position
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role or similar position

Working Conditions:

  • The role may require working in an office setting, and may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • The role may require some evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
  • The role may require occasional travel
