Tempe ABA Therapy Center
Our Tempe ABA Therapy center works with early learners and school age children on the Autism Spectrum. Our clinical team understands that each child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has unique needs. That’s why ABC believes that every single treatment plan should be unique.
Why Action Behavior Centers?
At ABC, we believe Applied Behavior Analysis therapy should feel very similar to a school-like learning environment. What’s more, we believe ABA therapy should be a fun and enjoyable experience for each kiddo! Our team takes the time and effort to understand each child’s individual needs and ensure that their treatment program and therapy goals meet those needs.
Our approach incorporates both Discrete Trial Training (DTT) teaching methods and Natural Environment Training (NET). We offer center-based, in-home, and part time/after school options for the families we serve. The main goal of ABC is to help children successfully transition into school and community environments. Please contact us to find out more about our Tempe ABA Therapy program options and enrollment process.
How Much Does ABA Therapy Cost?
Action Behavior Centers works with a variety of insurance providers to ensure that our program is covered for the families we bring on board. We make the process as simple as possible! Our insurance team handles everything from the initial Benefits Verification check to the authorization process for ABA services.
Importantly, we never want cost to be a reason that a child on the autism spectrum is unable to access essential ABA therapy services. Contact our Tempe ABA Therapy team to learn about our financial payment plan options.
Free Autism Diagnostic Assessments for the Tempe, AZ Community
Our Tempe ABA Therapy center offers the ADOS-2 evaluation at no cost to families. ADOS-2 stands for Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (Second Edition). The assessment is known as the gold standard for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder
We have a team of Licensed Psychologists and ADOS-trained BCBAs who run the assessment and provide results to the child’s physician to review. The child’s physician can make the final diagnostic determination using their own observations and parent-reported data.
This process helps families get answers at a much quicker pace, and children are able to start therapy earlier if it’s medically necessary. Every day counts!

We realize there are many questions that parents will have when their child faces a developmental delay such as autism. On each page of our website you can find answers to a variety of questions.
ABA therapy takes into account all of the specific needs of each individual on the Autism Spectrum. BCBAs are responsible for running initial assessments of each child and putting together the treatment plans and therapy goals. RBTs will implement these goals and targets in one-on-one therapy sessions.
Through repetition, positive reinforcement, and many other techniques, children will see significant gains in targeted areas like communication, language, social skills, independent living skills, and more. Our main goal at ABC is to help early learners transition into neurotypical school environments.
Many parents have concerns about their child’s development but aren’t sure where to start. We can help.
Our Tempe ABA Therapy center offers free Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) assessments to help local physicians in the Greater Phoenix area determine whether a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is necessary.
Start by filling out an M-CHAT Questionnaire (if the child is younger than 3 years old) or a Pre-Assessment Screening (if the child is 3 years of age or older). Select the center that is most convenient and an ABC team member will contact you promptly to schedule a free autism assessment.
Please contact our Tempe ABA Therapy Center to learn more about our enrollment process. We do not have a wait for ABA services at the current time, and every day counts.
