Sugar Land ABA Therapy Services for Children on the Autism Spectrum
Action Behavior Centers provide ABA therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum in the Houston. Our Sugar Land ABA Therapy clinic currently has no wait to start services for individuals in need – we understand that each day makes a difference in the lives of the little ones we serve.
Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) is backed by hundreds of research studies. By starting ABA therapy services as early as possible, the more progress can be made. At Action Behavior Centers, we target many areas of development, including communication, social skills, and the reduction of challenging or undesirable behaviors.
I have concerns about my child’s development, but no diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. What next?
Many parents aren’t aware that children can be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as early as 18 months to 2 years of age. Some of the key signs of ASD include:
- Delayed speech
- Lack of verbal and nonverbal communication
- Restricted and repetitive behaviors
- Lack of interest in socializing with peers
- Lack of imaginary play
- Persistent meltdowns and temper tantrums
- Aggressive or self-injurious behaviors
- Not responding to name
To help parents get quick answers on their child’s development, ABC offers free diagnostic assessments for Autism – the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2).
The ADOS-2 assessment is very thorough, natural, and play-based. Our qualified clinicians will conduct the assessment to assist the child’s pediatrician or neurologist in deciding whether a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is necessary.
Call today to request a free ADOS-2 assessment.
Our Mission at Action Behavior Centers
The mission of Action Behavior Centers is not to be the biggest ABA provider, but the best one. We understand Autism and want to make sure the highest quality care is offered to our children and families.
Our full-time, intensive ABA therapy program targets the skills needed to be successful in both school and community settings. Some of these goals include developing language and play skills, learning to follow directions, and developing self-help skills, such as toilet training, brushing teeth, and washing hands.
