How Does Applied Behavior Analysis Work?
Applied Behavior Analysis has been around for decades, proving its effectiveness to treat the signs and symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through thousands of research studies.
There are two main teaching methodologies used in ABA: Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Training (NET). DTT focuses on goals seen in more traditional school table work activities, while NET focuses more on areas like social skills and play skills.
Our main target areas are:
The number one goal of ABC is to help children successfully transition into school and community environments. Please contact us to find out more about our Scottsdale ABA Therapy program options and enrollment process.

Action Behavior Centers works with a variety of insurance providers to ensure that our ABA Therapy program is covered for the families we serve. We never want cost to be a reason that a child on the autism spectrum is unable to access essential ABA therapy services.

Please get in touch with your questions. We’ll be pleased to help.
We realize there are many questions that parents will have when their child faces a developmental delay such as autism. On each page of our website you can find answers to a variety of questions.
ABA therapy takes into account all of the specific needs of each individual on the Autism Spectrum. BCBAs are responsible for running initial assessments of each child and putting together the treatment plans and therapy goals. RBTs will implement these goals and targets in one-on-one therapy sessions.
Through repetition, positive reinforcement, and many other techniques, children will see significant gains in targeted areas like communication, language, social skills, independent living skills, and more. Our main goal at ABC is to help early learners transition into neurotypical school environments.
Many parents have concerns about their child’s development but aren’t sure where to start. We can help.
Our North Scottsdale ABA Therapy center offers free Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) assessments to help local physicians in the Greater Phoenix area determine whether a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is necessary.
Start by filling out an M-CHAT Questionnaire (if the child is younger than 3 years old) or a Pre-Assessment Screening (if the child is 3 years of age or older). Select the center that is most convenient and an ABC team member will contact you promptly to schedule a free autism assessment.
Please contact our North Scottsdale ABA Therapy Center to learn more about our enrollment process. We do not have a wait for ABA services at the current time, and every day counts.
