First-Rate ABA Therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder in Memorial, Houston
Action Behavior Centers is a nationally recognized provider of Applied Behavior Analysis. With multiple locations in Texas, ABC continues to achieve its goal of providing the highest quality of ABA therapy and parent training with an exceptional team of clinical supervisors and behavior technicians.
Meet our Clinical Team
Our talented team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) come with some of the best educational backgrounds and training in the field. BCBAs use their extensive knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to create highly individualized treatment plans for children on the spectrum.
Our BCBAs are stationed on-site daily to supervise therapy sessions and provide support for therapists and parents. With small caseloads of just 6 children (far below the industry norm), our BCBAs are able to stay highly involved in each child’s treatment and update therapy goals weekly, if not daily.
We ensure that all of our therapists go through intensive training and sit for the national exam to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). We offer all RBTs full-time career opportunities and benefits – ABA therapy isn’t just a space filler for them, it’s a passion.
We’re proud to have the lowest turnover rate in the industry. Parents and children truly get to know their therapists and won’t see different faces coming in each day. Your child’s continuity of care is our first priority.
What Happens in a Day of ABA Therapy?
With an Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program, children are given the optimal amount of time to make the most improvements in their areas of need.
All therapy sessions have a one-on-one child-to-therapist ratio. In addition to more traditional table work activities, children enjoy circle time, art time, social skills groups, outside recess, and special events like Splash Day!
ABA therapy targets many of the typical areas of developmental delay seen in individuals with ASD – communication, social skills, tantrum behaviors, repetitive behaviors, and daily living skills, including toilet training and feeding therapy. However, each child on the Spectrum is unique, so all ABA treatment plans will reflect that individuality.
How Much Will This Cost?
One of the first questions most parents ask when it comes to an intensive ABA therapy program is cost.
Fortunately, the Texas Autism Mandate holds insurance companies accountable for covering ABA therapy, helping many families access therapy at a low cost.

Free Diagnostic Assessments for Autism
Action Behavior Centers offer free diagnostic autism assessments to help parents get quick answers if they have concerns their child may be on the Autism Spectrum. The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) is seen as the gold standard of testing for the signs of ASD. Children can be reliably diagnosed as early as 18 months to 2 years old.
Waitlists at many other behavioral specialists can be a year or longer. ABC understands the importance of access to therapeutic services as early as possible.
No Wait List
The autism community is largely underserved, and many children are placed on waitlists of up to a year long at other ABA centers.
Since our business began, we have always prioritized maintaining our ‘No Wait List’ status to be able to help children access services during their most critical time of need. Plenty of research shows that children who start ABA therapy at earlier ages see the most significant gains.
