Clinic-based ABA Therapy for Children with Autism in Kingwood – No Waitlist!
Decades of research have come to a clear consensus: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) changes the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by leading to drastic improvements.
With Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) in particular, children show significant improvements in areas of delay associated with Autism – communication, social skills, restricted and repetitive behaviors, self-injury, aggression, stimming, elopement, and more.
Our Kingwood ABA Therapy Team
Action Behavior Centers only hire the most qualified candidates to implement our clinically rigorous ABA programs. Simply stated, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs) are the best in the industry.
With our intensive and standardized training program, all of our clinical staff are equipped to uphold ABC’s high standards for ABA therapy. Our team members have a true passion for working with children on the Spectrum, and ABC is very proud of its extremely low turnover rate. It’s important to us that families and children see the same faces around the center each day and truly get to know the people who will be making a big difference in their lives.
How Does ABA Therapy Help?
ABA therapy focuses heavily on positive reinforcement to help shape and redirect the behaviors of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Specifically, ABA therapy helps improve areas of development including language, communication, general cognition, social skills, play skills, and adaptive skills.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts create treatment plans and therapy goals specific to the needs of each child. Registered Behavior Technicians implement the behavior plans in a one-on-one setting to help the child reach the goals set by the BCBA.
Parents are also a huge part of ABA therapy treatment! Our BCBAs offer bi-weekly parent training sessions to help parents understand the principles of ABA and continue working on therapy targets in the home setting.
Free Assessments to Determine if an Autism Diagnosis is Necessary (ADOS-2):
Our Kingwood ABA Therapy center provides free assessments – the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) – to help concerned parents get answers.
The first step in getting an assessment scheduled is to fill out an M-CHAT Questionnaire (for children younger than 3 years old) or a Pre-Assessment Screening (for children 3 years of age or older). Select the center that is most convenient and ABC will contact you to coordinate assessment details.
Please contact our Kingwood ABA Therapy Center to learn more about our enrollment process. Every day counts, and we currently do not have a waitlist!
