Our Cypress ABA Therapy Clinic Helps Children with Autism Reach their Highest Potential!
Our passionate clinical team members have dedicated their careers to serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. At Action Behavior Centers, we offer an Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program to help young learners successfully transition into school and community environments.
How Does Applied Behavior Analysis Help Treat Autism?
ABA therapy is a research-backed treatment to help improve skills and abilities in several areas of development, including communication, socialization, and independent living skills. ABA therapy also helps reduce challenging behaviors like temper tantrums, meltdowns, aggression, self-injury, and restricted and repetitive behaviors.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) create individualized treatment plans and therapy goals based on the needs of each child. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) implement behavior therapy in a one-on-one setting. Our BCBAs offer regular parent trainings to ensure parents are also an integral part of their child’s progress!
Our Cypress ABA Therapy Team – BCBAs and Registered Behavior Therapists
Our team consists of highly skilled and passionate individuals who have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of kids on the Spectrum. ABC is extremely selective throughout our multi-tiered interview and hiring process.
For children on the Autism Spectrum, consistency is key. Families will truly get to know their child’s BCBA and therapists – with our high staff retention rates, families and children will see the same faces around the center each day and build strong relationships with their team.
Need an Autism Diagnosis? ADOS-2 Helps with the Diagnostic Process
Our Cypress ABA Therapy center offers free diagnostic assessments to screen for a concern of autism – the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2).
The ADOS-2 assessment is very natural, play-based and takes about 45 minutes to an hour to complete. We will fax the assessment results to your child’s pediatrician, neurologist, or developmental pediatrician for a diagnostic determination.
The first step in getting an assessment scheduled is to fill out an M-CHAT Questionnaire (for children younger than 3 years old) or a Pre-Assessment Screening (for children 3 years of age or older). Select the center that is most convenient, and ABC will contact you to schedule an assessment time.
Please contact our Cypress ABA Therapy Center to learn more about our enrollment process.
