Helping Kids with Autism Reach Their Highest Potential in Allen, TX
Since being founded in 2016, Action Behavior Centers has always been set out to be the best ABA provider in Texas, not necessarily the biggest.
ABA Therapy Treatment Options to Meet All Children’s Needs
Applied Behavior Analysis therapy is backed by decades of research as well as pediatricians, neurologists, developmental specialists, and psychologists as the leading treatment approach for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
At ABC, we strive to offer a solution for every family’s specific needs. Our treatment options include intensive center-based ABA therapy, in-home ABA therapy, part time/after school programs, and social skills groups.
How Does ABA Therapy Help?
ABA therapy can help with a variety of developmental areas, including (but not limited to):
- Speech, language, and communication
- Social skills
- Sensory sensitivities
- Food aversions
- Adaptive skills (self-help)
- Toilet training
- Temper tantrums, meltdown behaviors
- Challenges with transitions and changes to routine
- Aggression and self-injury
- Cognition and academics
Diagnostic Assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder at No Cost
If parents have concerns that their child may be on the autism spectrum, an ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition) evaluation can help families find answers.
Our Allen ABA Therapy center offers the ADOS-2 evaluation to families for free! Developmental Pediatricians and Neurologists in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area often have waitlists to diagnose ASD or can be costly depending on insurance coverage.
Our team of Licensed Psychologists and ADOS-trained BCBAs work with local physicians to help families through the diagnostic process. Our Allen ABA Therapy team’s main goal is to help children receive earlier treatment if medically necessary.
The ADOS-2 incorporates a variety of toys, activities, and interactions with our clinicians – kiddos have fun during the evaluation!
