Shea has worked in the field of ABA for nearly decade and prior to ABA worked in the field of clinical psychology for several years. The passion to change fields to ABA grew out of a desire to be able to truly measure progress with behavioral focused treatment. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Neuroscience/Psychology with a minor in Child Development, then earned a master degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She went back to school to gain a master degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and hasn’t looked back since. She has experience working with all different ages from young children to adults, but her passion lies in treatment children and aiding their families to learn how to aid their child in meeting their goals. She loves working in early intensive behavior treatment because every day is like Christmas morning. Seeing the kiddos progress and meet their goals, no matter how big or how small, is the best present she could ever ask for! Every day a child makes progress is a day a whole family unit changes, and that is joy that she can’t even put into words. She looks forward to getting to know you and your family, and could not be happier that you are choosing apart of the ABC family.
