Audrey McIntyre

Regional Director of Operations | Denver, CO

Audrey McIntyre serves as Regional Director of Operations for ABC's Colorado market. Audrey is accountable for the operational success and mentorship of operations leaders across clinics in Colorado. She relocated to Colorado from California to join ABC in November of 2020, and opened ABC's first clinic in Colorado in December of 2020. Audrey graduated from the University of Arizona, where she played D1 soccer for the Wildcats. Bear down! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking.

Allison Cossu

Manager of Teammate Experience | Denver, CO

Allison Cossu started with Action Behavior Centers in 2019 as an RBT in Austin, Texas. With a strong commitment to growth, Allison was driven to consistently step up to do the job that needed to be done. Today, she serves as the Senior Teammate Experience Ambassador for the Arizona and Colorado markets. She is passionate about creating and implementing projects that foster an exceedingly supportive environment where all ABC Teammates feel they can thrive. Allison obtained a Bachelors in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a SHRM-CP certification.

Liz DeWolf

Clinical Director | Broomfield, CO

Liz has studied and practiced in the field of Behavior Analysis since 2008. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology at Saint Mary's College and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at California Lutheran University. Liz gained her initial experience in both the home and school settings providing direct intervention services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. In 2016 Liz relocated to Colorado and continued to work as a Behavior Analyst, gaining additional experience in the clinic setting. In 2020, Liz was then given the opportunity to mentor and support a team of growing Behavior Analysts and began to take on a leadership role as Associate Clinical Director, overseeing the clinical operations for both in-home and clinic-based services.

Sophie Vail

Clinical Director | Westminster, CO

Sophie joined the Westminster team in November of 2022 as a Clinical Director. She earned her BA in Psychology from Indiana University in 2014 and her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University in 2017. Sophie started her journey in ABA as a Behavioral Therapist in 2014. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2017. Sophie has worked with a variety of individuals with autism ages 18 months to adulthood. Her research interests include OBM and family guidance. Sophie is passionate about helping neurodiverse individuals and their families meet socially significant goals. In her spare time, Sophie can be found hiking, traveling, and enjoying restaurants and the arts with her husband and their daughter.

Evelyn Sprinkle

Senior Clinical Director | Green Valley Ranch, CO

Dr. Evelyn Sprinkle, BCBA-D received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University, Sacramento. She received her Doctorate in Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. She's worked in the field of ABA and ASD treatment for nearly 20 years. She has had the pleasure of serving children and young adults with special needs and their families in center, home, community, and school settings. Dr. Sprinkle greatly enjoys the teaching of verbal behavior and functional skills and has a passion for caregiver education.

Alec Davis

Clinical Director | Centennial (DTC)

Alec is most recently from Austin, Texas, but originally from Indiana. Alec has always had a passion for working with kids and about seven years ago my flame was ignited when I started working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has been working in the mental health field for the last 10 years working in homes, the community, and in hospitals. Alec has worked in a variety of facilities specializing in all areas from early intervention to complex behavior. When she's not working, she loves hanging out with her husband and two dogs. In Alec's free time, she enjoys doing crafts, puzzles, and watching Austin FC soccer games.

Melanie Marshall

Clinical Director | Highlands Ranch, CO

Melanie has a bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies and a master's degree in Exceptional Student Education, with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has been in the field of ABA since 2015. Melanie has had the privilege of working with experts in the areas of language acquisition, Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), and Complex Behavior. Melanie is passionate about providing compassionate care and socially significant therapy to ensure long-lasting and meaningful outcomes.

Haley Van Klompenburg

Clinical Director | Lone Tree, CO

Haley Van Klompenburg grew up in Houston, Texas before being her ABA career in Austin in 2016. Haley has experience providing ABA services in the clinic, home, school, and community settings. In 2021, Haley moved to Denver, Colorado, to grow and expand her career in ABA. In her spare time, Haley likes to hike, run, rock climb, and spend time with her dog, Miles.

Taylor Keenen

Assistant Clinical Director | Lakewood, CO

Taylor Keenen joined team ABC in 2022 with over 10 years of experience working with children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. Credentialed as a BCaBA in 2016 and BCBA in 2017, Taylor was a stakeholder on the rules advisory committee that licensed the practice of behavior analysis in the state of Oregon in 2016. Taylor’s training experience focused on the acquisition of language and communication skills with early learners through comprehensive ABA treatment programs. Taylor is passionate about treatment outcomes, developing clinical leaders, and growing a compassionate work culture. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with her dog, friends, and family.

ABA therapy is the leading approach for improving developmental deficiencies associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By focusing on human behavior, ABA therapy increases learning and functional behaviors while minimizing problem behaviors.
Every child and case of autism is unique, and some children experience more significant progress with ABA therapy than others. However, studies show those who receive two or more years of intensive behavioral intervention make substantial progress and can participate in school and social activities at the same level as their peers.
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is a popular diagnostic tool used by specialists to assess ASD by delving into key indicators — like communication, social interaction, and repetitive behaviors. This natural, play-based assessment leverages a variety of toys and activities and lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. Our expert clinicians conduct ADOS-2, the updated version of ADOS, at our centers.
The Childhood Autism Spectrum Test or CAST (formerly the “Childhood Asperger’s Syndrome Test”) is a 37- 40 item, yes or no evaluation aimed at parents. The questionnaire was developed by the ARC (the Autism Research Centre) at the University of Cambridge, for assessing the severity of autism spectrum symptoms in children. It has proved to be a good test for screening autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and social communication problems.
M-CHAT™ (Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers) is a screening tool parents can use to assess ASD in children aged 16 to 30 months. Children who received a high-risk score should be evaluated by an autism specialist. ABC offers an M-CHAT screening tool as the first step in the diagnostic process.
We are in-network with most major insurance companies and working to become a network provider for additional networks. When you’re ready, ABC will help you navigate the insurance process by verifying coverage and benefits, discussing the treatment plan with the insurance company, and pre-authorizing benefits. We’ll also bill the insurance company directly to make your life easier.
After you submit your three-minute new client application, we’ll call you to discuss your family’s needs and help you explore all options. Next, we’ll schedule a visit to our facility for you and your child, as well as an ADOS evaluation, if necessary. Finally, after completing intake paperwork, you and your child will meet their BCBA for an assessment and begin preparing for the first day of therapy. Together, we’ll create a better future for your child.
